Because the Rebild Festival is all about friendship and relationships between people across generations.
The Rebild Society is a non-political Danish-American friendship organization that, since 1912, has held celebrations on the United States’ Independence Day, July 4th, in Rebild Hills to honor the cultural, educational, and family ties between our two countries.
The traditional and cozy tent luncheon will take place before the celebrations in the hills. This is the place to meet up with family and friends. At the tent luncheon the friendship between Danes and Americans is celebrated with speeches, singing, music and of course a nice lunch.
You are all welcome to join the tent lunch.

REMEMBER – your ticket to the tent luncheon also gives you access to a seat at the Rebild Festival in the Rebild hills.

The Gala Dinner is an evening dedicated to celebrating the Danish-American friendship in a more formal setting.
Set in the beautiful surroundings of Comwell Hotel Hvide Hus in Aalborg, we invite you to an evening filled with cozy atmosphere, delicious food, inspiring speeches, and great entertainment.

The Danish-American Club invites you to the Mayor’s Luncheon on July 3rd at 12:00 pm at Comwell Hotel Hvide Hus.
During the lunch, the Danish-American Club will appoint a Danish-American as MAYOR FOR A DAY.

Join an exciting guided tour in Rebild Hills, where member of the Rebild Society, author, and guide Helge Søgaard will share all the fun stories and anecdotes about the Rebild Festival through the years, along with the most impressive views over the hills and the beautiful nature.
The tour lasts about 1.5 hours at a leisurely pace, suitable for everyone. Wear a pair of good walking shoes.
