It is a pleasure for me to play the role as convention chair once again for the Rebild National Park Society’s annual meeting. This time it will take place in Greater Cincinnati that has a foot both in Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
Cincinnati is a tremendous city with much to offer, and we’ll take participants on an unforgettable tour.
Hotel information: We have contracted with the attractive Embassy Suites on the River that has an amazing view towards the Cincinnati skyline, the Ohio River and the sports stadiums. The hotel offers a significant and plentiful breakfast and late afternoon happy hour, which are included in the price. The room price per night is $156 – $176 + tax. Includes breakfast and happy hour. Parking will be discounted 50%. The hotel is located in Covington and only 25 min from the airport. Hotel Website Here
Arrival to Cincinnati: The airport is called Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati International Airport (CVG) and is a major hop. Arrivals from all major airports in the US and from London, UK. For many of you, it may be tempting to go on a lovely road trip. Chicago is only four hours away, Atlanta seven, Detroit three, Louisville two, and San Diego three days.

Important information
IF you want to sign up for the post-tour, we need registrations no later than March 10. The reason is that a visit to the Toyota Manufacturing Plant demands that we can provide its security department with proper ID and current address of all individual participants.
IF you want to participate in the program from April 3-6, or selected events (the gala dinner and dance or the Freedom Center visit for example), the deadline for registration is March 15.
I do, however, believe that we can register participants a little later, if it is absolutely necessary and not inconvenient).
Post-tour hotel info
If you decide to sign up for the post-tour, you have to pay the full amount $765. However, in order to show flexibility and serve our participants the best way possible from a financial point of view, we can make sure the bus swings by CVG (Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati Int’l Airport) on out way back from the tour and attempt to be at 5 PM on Tuesday, April 9, so you can catch a flight out and spend one less night at Embassy Suites RiverCenter. If you choose that option, you will receive a full refund, for not using the hotel, before you leave.
There may be participants, who will bring their own cars and who will choose not to stay at the hotel on April 9. They will receive a refund as well.
