Named after former General Sam Houston, who was president of the Republic of Texas and had won Texas’s independence from Mexico, Houston was built by shipping and oil, and is now the home of NASA’s Johnson Space Center and Mission Control.
We will enjoy a day at Danevang, the “Danish Capital of Texas”, visit the Johnson Space Center, and then visit San Antonio, home of the Alamo and the famous “River Walk”.
We will conclude our post tour in the beautiful Texas capital of Austin.

March 28 2023: Morning guided Austin city tour including the capital
Time for shopping and/or lunch.
Afternoon and Evening reception/dinner hosted by Monica & Dan Haydt.
Dan started VLT (Vision Lighting Technologies) in So.Calif. They did business with Roblon in Frederikshavn, buying fiber and fixtures from Denmark. Moved VLT to Texas in 2017.
March 29 2023: Departures from Austin Airport
Or take Bus back to Houston. Overnight hotel in Houston on your own. We will make reservations back at the Hilton Houston for those who want to spend Wednesday night there before departing Houston on March 30. The bus back to Houston IS included in your price.
